Artificial intelligence may become the most important technology humanity has ever created. The question is no longer only who will build the most powerful AI.

The real question is who will own it, who will control it, who will benefit from it, and what happens when something goes wrong.

Most technology roadmaps are quiet documents. They describe features, quarters, and metrics. This one is deliberately different. It is a public commitment about what we intend to build, in what order, and who it is being built for.

Everything below is subject to being wrong in the details. Very little of it is subject to being wrong in the direction.

Through Earth Compute, we will build the most complete public map of the world's data centres, GPU clusters, cloud regions, and network connectivity. The goal is not surveillance of infrastructure, but visibility — a shared, open picture of where compute actually lives, who operates it, and how it is priced.

This becomes the foundation everything else is built on. You cannot open a system you cannot see.

Through OwnCloud, we will build the distributed marketplace that lets independent operators — from small regional providers to large data-centre operators — connect capacity to one open, discoverable network.

The intent is not to replace hyperscalers, but to make sure they are not the only option. Independent operators together can offer something closed clouds cannot: neutrality.

Through OwnOS, we will ship a modular operating system for data centres, servers, GPU clusters, edge devices, and personal computers. It is designed to run open models, open agents, and open applications without asking permission from any single vendor.

An open operating layer means the intelligence that runs on our infrastructure can be inspected, replaced, and improved by anyone.

Through Own 1, we will deliver a personal AI computer that keeps models, agents, and data close to the person who uses them. Private by default. Portable. Local when it can be, connected when it should be.

The point is simple: personal AI should be personal — owned, controlled, and configured by the person, not by a platform far away.

In parallel with the technical work, we will complete a legally compliant community ownership structure representing 510,000 verified people, holding 51% of voting and economic rights in the network.

This is the part that most technology projects avoid, because it is hard, slow, and legally serious. It is also the part that makes the whole thing real.

Once the foundations are in place, we will open the network to everyone — as developers who build on it, as providers who contribute capacity to it, and as Owners who help govern it.

At that point, OwnX stops being a project and becomes what it was always meant to be: shared infrastructure for the age of intelligence.

A plan of this size cannot be built by one company, one country, or one generation of builders. It requires operators willing to connect capacity, engineers willing to work in the open, policymakers willing to engage seriously, and people willing to be counted as Owners.

They are building AI empires. We are building an open world.
